DES MOINES – Voters in Iowa did their job this past November in the general election, with the fifth-highest turnout of all the states.

Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate says Iowa’s 2016 election turnout surpassed 72%, “making us one of the top five in the entire nation.”  There were 1,581,371 ballots cast in Iowa.

Pate announced that the voting results were now official and the state canvass for the 2016 election is complete. Donald Trump won Iowa 50-41 over Hillary Clinton (800,983 to 653,669) for President.

Voter registration stats show that Mr. Trump was likely buoyed by record high new Republican ranks. Democrats had 634,744 register to their side while Republicans had 671,713 (a record high). No Party had 717,794, while “Other” had 11,811, for a total of 2,036,062.

Harrison County county led the way at 88%.

Pate says approximately 1/3 of Iowa voters cast straight party ballots this year. Only 9 other states have straight party voting.

Vote for Andy O’Brien today. A voice of reason.
If you are tired of the stagnation mentality of a vocal minority in this city vote for O’Brien.

Adams will win 65-35 at least he knocked on my door and listen to me I never saw this Obrian man he never knock on my door.

You mean the +60% minority that voted for Adams/Weaver? That minority? You seem about as good with numbers as Andy is with written English. Good luck getting the mayor’s puppet on the board, people in this town remembers why the seat is vacant.

… speaking of which, today is December 6th. Go vote for Paul Adams! If you stay home, Bookmeyer is going to get his personal puppet on City Council.

People came out because we are sick and tired of liberal bull shit. Time to drain the swamp.

When is that gonna happen? Seems like trumpf is just filling up the swamp with more alligators.

It may seem like it to you because you are one of the ones who will be going down the drain Buttercup.

Not worried. Alligators don’t go far from the swamp for their food. They go after what is close by – and that will be you daisy mae.

You should be afraid. Alligators love fat heads like you.

Maybe but they loved chicken meat and they will devour you.
