CLEAR LAKE – A Clear Lake man was guilty of domestic abuse and received a deferred judgement for child endangerment after a violent incident.
Truman Jacobson, age 23 from Clear Lake, was arrested on Serious Domestic Abuse after an incident on July 4, 2016. Clear Lake police say the complaint stated that Jacobson “did strike the victim’s head and face against the interior of a vehicle. Jacobson and the victim were in a relationship at the time of the incident.”
In addition, a charge of child endangerment was also brought.
On October 25, Jacobson and his public defender entered a guilty plea to first-offense domestic abuse assault. He was given 2 days in jail. He was given a deferred judgement in the child endangerment case and put on probation for a year. He must submit a DNA sample and pay $341.50 in court costs.
