NIACC men’s cross country team ranked 9th in latest poll

MASON CITY – The NIACC men’s cross country team is ranked No. 9 in the latest NJCAA Division I poll released Wednesday by the United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association.

NIACC was also No. 9 in the Oct. 5 poll.

Iowa Central is ranked No. 1 in the men’s poll. Iowa Western is ranked No. 20 and Indian Hills is tied for 25th.

The NIACC men placed second at the Loras College Invitational last Friday in Dubuque.

In the women’s poll, Iowa Central is No. 1 and Iowa Western is No. 15.

The NIACC men and women return to action Oct. 29 in the NJCAA Region XI meet on the NIACC campus in Mason City.
