MASON CITY – Police discovered a young lady with the powerful, illegal drug meth in a Mason City nature center, leading to her guilty plea and a trip to jail.
A Cerro Gordo deputy was at Lime Creek Nature Center, 3501 Lime Creek Road in Mason City Saturday morning, April 10, 2016 just before 2:00 AM and discovered a suspicious vehicle there. After an investigation, 19-year-old Constance Myah Jennings, now of Garner, was found to be in possession of the powerful, illegal drug methamphetamine. She was placed under arrest on the drug possession charge and taken to the county jail.
On August 9, Jennings entered a guilty plea. She was sentenced to 2 days in jail, ordered to pay $828.25 in fines and court fees, and her driver’s license was revoked, records show.
She’s in the Cerro Gordo county jail serving her sentence now.
