MASON CITY – Jacob Krueger announced today that he is a candidate in the September 20 election for the at-large seat on the Mason City Council.

“I have decided to run for Mason City Council at Large for the simple fact that I believe in Mason City,” Mr. Krueger said in a statement on his website.  “I believe the most important aspect of representing our city is by listening to the people who call Mason City their home. I believe that this will produce a stronger community where families not only live and work but will also be able to seek even greater opportunity in the future by encouraging growth and development. The future of Mason City is bright and it will be an honor to serve our city as a member of the Mason City Council.”

Krueger joins Max Weaver, Andy O’Brien and Paul Adams as candidates for the at-large seat once held by the late Alex Kuhn, who died on July 15.

Any Mason City citizen interested in running in the election can file paperwork up until August 26.

Mr . Krueger has my vote!

He is just a puppet of the cult he belongs to.

His sister is hot Im hitting that! Good girl nice family!

I heard his sister is hot!

His sistera name is Freddie!

Will he use his super church mind powers against Bookie’s mind powers?

An alternative candidate would be best, someone who is pro life i.e. environment/clean water, air, soil, someone who enjoys helping others, someone who isn’t driven by greed, someone who can see problem areas and form groups to come up with ideas to resolve problems, someone who is vegan or at least vegetarian, someone who values exercising and being fit and trim, someone who can forecast potential problems and materialize ideas that would include citizen input i.e. alternative electrical source if electricity went out for any extended amount of time also if the currency crashes, someone who is interested in a balanced budget with zero waste, someone who is interested in returning $ to home owners who pay property tax if there is an excess, someone who can say no, someone who is able to research issues, someone who is creative, someone who has an individual mindset and does not possess a herd mentality, someone who is authentic/genuine.

The ideal candidate would be someone who has learned how to use a period when constructing a sentence, rather than expressing different ideas in a single, rambling paragraph, as noted above.

Obvious punctuation and grammar are irrelevant if there is zero content, there is over a 60 year history of destroying the environment i.e. toxic synthetic chemicals in the water, top soil destroyed from conventional 24/7 farming, soil full of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers , air full of aluminum, barium and other contaminants from Chemtrails, spreading disease through unclean consumption of meat and processed food made by chemists, obesity, debt, waste, GMO seeds/Monsanto, GEO engineering/HAARP, Gwen Towers, worthless jobs that do not promote life/harmony, A.) Has punctuation solved any of the above problems, or B.) Are people concerned about surface and not content, the answer is obviously B, personally I do not give a hoot if someone is an academic they are the ones who have created all of this mess, I know plenty of regurgitated academics and they are “dumb”, they have zero common sense, video about “Chemtrails”, https://youtu.be/L5is16A8pfw, also if you do not care for my punctuation just don’t read my posts, also I am not claiming to be an academic, the technocrat dictator era that has perfect punctuation will be ruling over the herd next, enjoy your fascist spellbound grammar and punctuation, they will give all of that and more, not my cup of tea.

why do u have to keep prints, vacany due to the death of alex Kuhn?? cant u just write they are running for the vacant seat on the mason city council

Feeling guilty about something?

That response by Anonymos is uncalled for. Some of you people are so negative and say some of the stupidest things.

I don’t know Mr. Krugeger but admire anyone who is willing to put himself/herself on the line and volunteer for public office.

I want to know more about his views.

I agree. Writing him off because he belongs to an unorthodox church is just stupid. I’ll consider any intelligent, hard working person with proven integrity and preferably without a pro-Prestage record, i.e. anyone with a reasonable chance to do justice to Alex’s legacy.

I know nothing about this guy, hope to learn more.

Ditto: Since when is there a religious test for City Council?

Well there is a test and has questions like: Do you watch TBN?

Well what exactly is an unorthodox church? George Steel was considered unorthodox.

No, I thought it was your mother.

I was thinking that I had read that prior to Mr Krueger’s announcement that Mason City had four candidates. Wasn’t there a guy that works at Curries that had ran for council before running this time too? Has he already dropped out or am I mistaking about this? Thanks in advance for any response on this.

Five have announced:
Max Weaver
Andy O’Brien
Paul Adams
Joshua Masson
Jacob Krueger

Only O’Brien, Adams and Krueger have filed the paperwork with the Auditor.
Cutoff is August 26th

Thank you for the information.

We need more time, I’m sure there are a few more people who are eager to sit up on the council. Give the city more choices. Maybe I’ll run too.

I hope you do run and use your name Dick Neely!

Who is Jacob Krueger? Hope he is more intelligent than obrien!!

Who is this guy ?

Checked it out. He belongs to that Christian Fellowship Church… the very one that sued Mason City police officers. Where former police officer Maria Ohl that also sued the city, was a member. Pastor is Shane Philpot Nutrisystem counselor turned minister and self proclaimed voice of God. This is not good choice.

Mason city is going to the dogs!!!

It almost went to the hogs.

Lol I agree. Thank God that didn’t happen

The Pastor of the Church and the ex cop won their cases, so the city must’ve been in the wrong. So whats your point?

They didn’t “win” their cases, they settled. And I would call it more of a “Cult” than a “Church”. The humble preacher drives a new giant Lexus SUV. I’m sure he gives God his offerings first, and the sermon is on filling the offering plate almost every Sunday.

So what if he belongs to a church. That doesn’t make him guilty of anything. I know lots of Catholics and they are not responsible for what the priest do.
