Unlicensed driver rolls car on I-35, taken to hospital

cerro gordo county sheriffs officeRURAL CERRO GORDO COUNTY – An unlicensed Waterloo driver rolled his car on Interstate 35 in rural Cerro Gordo county, leading to a hospital visit and charges.

On July 25, 2016 at 5:30 AM, Deputies from the Cerro Gordo County Sheriffs Office responded to a single vehicle rollover at mile marker 182 northbound on Interstate 35 in Cerro Gordo County. Upon arrival. Deputies found a pickup on it’s top in the ditch. The driver. Victor Gonzales, 25. from Waterloo sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident. He was transported to Mercy Medical Center North Iowa by Mason City Fire Department. Gonzales was charged with failure to maintain control and no valid insurance.

The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Mason City Fire Department and Rockwell Swaledale EMT’s.
