Two dead after crash near Iowa Falls

logo-iowa-state-patrolIOWA FALLS – Two people were killed and two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash north of Iowa Falls Friday morning.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, 35-year-old Diamond Marie Davis of St. Louis, Missouri, 84-year-old Katie M. Scott, of Wellston, Missouri and 51-year-old Yvonne E. Walls of Maryland Heights, Missouri were traveling eastbound in a 2016 Hyundai Elantra on Hardin Road at 7:57 AM Friday morning, July 22.

The vehicle, driven by Davis, approached the C73 intersection with Highway 65, and failed to yield the right of way at the stop sign and entered the intersection. The Elantra was struck on the driver’s side by a 2011 Chevy Silverado driven by 44-year-old Terry Wayne England of Iowa Falls.

As a result of the crash, Diamond Marie Davis and Katie M. Scott were killed. Walls and England were injured and taken to local hospitals.
