MASON CITY – A Mason City man is accused of dealing meth and is behind bars today after a raid on two houses in town.
Mason City police say that on July 21, 2016, the Cerro Gordo County Sheriffs Office executed two search warrants in town. One warrant was served at at 17 6th NE, which is owned by LaVonne Pedelty. The second search warrant was served at 208 28th Street SW, deed holder is Rick Brunsvold, on contract to Marianne Brennen. The North Central Iowa Narcotics Task Force Special Operations Group (Tactical Team) served the warrants.
Based on an ongoing investigation, Martin Leroy Pedelty, age 40 of Mason City, was taken into Custody. Pedelty was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with the intent to deliver, a Class B Felony. Pedelty is being held at the Cerro Gordo Couty Jail on $100,000 bond. Police say the investigation is ongoing and and ask that anyone with informatio contact the Cerro Gordo County Sheriffs Department.
