MASON CITY – A Mason City man was caught twice by Mason City police after alleged burglary incidents.
Mason City police were called to 407 21st Street SE to take a burglary report on May 16 after 4 PM. Soon thereafter, 20-year-old Jesse Kenen Rafael was arrested on a charge of burglary in the second degree.
Apparently, Rafael was released from jail. A few days later, on May 21, Rafael allegedly tried to steal a bike somewhere between Kentucky Avenue and Moonstone Court. He was arrested and taken to jail, where he is now held on bond, awaiting a May 27 court hearing.
Rafael was also recently charged with interference with a corrections official, possession of drug paraphernalia (twice), and trespass.
