MASON CITY – The NIACC baseball team is ranked fourth in the latest NJCAA Division II rankings heading into Saturday’s North Plains district tournament at Roosevelt Stadium.
NIACC (45-13) was ranked seventh heading into the NJCAA Region XI tournament last week.
The No. 4 ranking by the Trojans is the highest since they were ranked fourth in the April 9, 2003 poll.
It is the 11th straight poll that NIACC has been ranked in the top 20. The last poll where NIACC was not ranked was the April 22, 2015 poll.
