Spring break activity for kids planned at MacNider Museum

MASON CITY – A week of exploring the briny depths while making art is planned for kids during spring break at the MacNider Museum.

Spring break camp will be 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, March 14-18, at the museum.

Each day will be filled with creating ocean creatures and learning about critters that dwell in the deep. Projects will reflect the seas interesting array of life and colorful beauty. Daily tours of the museum and daily snacks are included.

Whether they pursue individual projects that capture their imagination or join with friends to create large-scale art, campers will have lots of chances to experiment with materials and learn new skills.

Cost of the week is $65, with a discount to museum members. Scholarships are available upon request. Call 641-421-3666 to register your child.
