MASON CITY – After being out of the last five polls, the NIACC women’s basketball team is back in the NJCAA Division II rankings at No. 19.
NIACC was No. 5 in the Dec. 16, 2015 poll but dropped out of the poll in the first rankings in 2016.
Before falling out of the rankings in early January, the Lady Trojans spent 28 consecutive polls in the top 10.
NIACC (13-10 overall, 5-3 in the ICCAC) has won three of its last four games and five of its last seven contests.
The Lady Trojans host Southwestern tonight in a ICCAC contest. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m. in the NIACC gym.
