MASON CITY – Police responded to a Mason City house for a loud party, leading to citations for teens.
Mason City police tell NIT that on February 7, 2016, at 12:26 AM, a loud party was report in the 1200 block of N Madison. Officers arrived and found the property involved was 1227 North Madison – owned by Daniel and Lynae Hershey. The 21-year-old tenant, Logan Hershey, was issued a municipal infraction for Social Host and released.
Three juveniles, Michael Rouse, Jayce McGuire, and Crisstian Jacobs were arrested for Unlawful Consumption. These three juveniles, ages 17, 15, and 16 were released to parents or relatives. The juveniles were referred to juvenile court services. Several other juveniles and adults were in the house.
The minors were given breath tests, and police say “the rest of the minors present were not found to have alcohol in their system”.
The incident will also be forwarded to the appropriate school officials to see if any school conduct policies were violated.
These criminal acts have been going on for 50+ years. Bring back the death penalty.
