MASON CITY – Police were called to a Mason City park this week after a person was found unresponsive in a car.
Police tell NIT that on October 27, 2015, at 9:46 AM, a citizen reported a parked car at Frederick Hanford Park (the park’s main entrance is at 23rd and South Monroe Avenue) that had not moved in a while and there appeared to be a person passed out or asleep inside. Police were called to investigate and arrived on the scene to investigate. Officers found the single occupant, a 47-year-old male (whom they did not name) from Fairfax, Iowa, deceased in the car.
The cause of death has been determined by the medical examiner to be a suicide. No further information was released.
Why would he drive so far out just to kill himself I have done more research on this and he drove 3 hours to just kill himself? I dont think so I have heard people say that it was the rain man because he doses attack people in those places and it was raining the day he died.
This proves our theory of that suicide we had thought of….
Here’s our story (it’s true)

If this were your family member, would you wanted their identity plastered all over the media? It’s no ones business. The family is hurting enough without having it rubbed in their faces.
Who what why and the car color, make and model. Cant believe this was not on local news? Oh my bad it didn’t happen in Minnesota.
Cause most new sources don’t report suicides
Well, NIT does. If you don’t like our stories, you are free to leave.
