Steve King says Planned Parenthood as bad as ACORN

Steve King thought real hard Monday about how to drag ACORN into his battle with Planned Parenthood.

NIT – Steve King couldn’t resist today taking a shot at ACORN, that political group that helped Obama get elected way back in 2008.

He hates ACORN so much, in fact, he equated it with the most-reviled agency in the right-wing universe right now, Planned Parenthood.

“These Planned Parenthood videos very much reflect the revulsion that we saw inside Acorn, only in a physical way and a revolting way and an intrinsic human value way,” Steve King said Monday, reaching into his grab bag to bring ACORN into the squabble over whether or not PP is truly mutilating babies and then selling the debris.

Outside of also being favored by left-wingers, ACORN doesn’t seem to have much to do with Planned Parenthood; except maybe Planned Parenthood caters more to the “low and moderate-income families” it claims to represent.

King went on to say that “I think it’s unconscionable if Congress can’t figure out how to simply cut off all funding to Planned Parenthood. It’s procedurally possible. It’s practical. If it’s the will of the people, we should do that. I think the odds right now are just about even.”

I support King. He has fought for the issues that help the working man and tried to stop the destruction of the Obama regime that has put the middle class in economic jeopardy.

This picture of Bookmeyer and King together is not representative of Steve King and it is my wishes that Matt would stop using that old picture as political rhetoric. It isn’t fitting for NIT to try and marry their two political beliefs together. They are not!

Bookmeyer is a left wing liberal posing as a Republican. King on the other hand is a Conservative Republican.

Bookmeyer uses the Republican Party to further himself and his Agenda 21 liberal policies much like Jay Urdahl uses the Republican…

@Anonymous, Agenda 21 has come along way since their inception. They have honed their Socialist/left wing skills and they are treacherous and damaging to American Freedom and the American Dream.

@watchdog-Good comment. Although the liberals don’t agree with what is right in front of them. Like David said, they are sheeple and lemmings.

Talk about a picture of two bafoons!!!!!!!

Say what you want. They have both been elected several times. So, someone must like them.

So with that logic, you’re OK with President Obama, Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid?

No, I am not. They are enemy’s of the country. King and the mayor are not.

Exactly how is the President of the USA an enemy of the country?

How can you NOT see what he is doing and NOT see that he is an enemy of the country? Ignorance only goes so far before it becomes stupidity.

That still does not answer the question.
Define what/where/how President Obama is an enemy.
I’m willing to listen.

what a dipstick dipshit you are…. smh.

You have to be blind, deaf and stupid not to have seen what Obummer has done and is doing. I will not do your work for you. Look it up. It is easy to find. The Iran deal is a good starter.

Giving money and weapons to the muslim brotherhood, al quad ea, ISIS. Basically it’s called giving aide and comfort to the enemy. Thats just the main one, I could also add other things like the litmus test, aiding racebaiters like sharpton. The hostages in iran and the one we had in mexico. The IRS scandal, Benghazi, The VA scandal. This is just a start.

yeah other kkk mugwumps.

You really confuse me LVS. I have read several posts from you where you say that King is too far gone for your liking but as soon as someone makes a comment about his politics, you take his side. You can’t have it both ways. Oh wait, you are a Republican, so I guess you can. By the way, GWB increase our debt so high that even the experts are astonished that President Obama has reduced it. Two wars cost us dearly. We will be paying for them for generations.

In simple terms….. LVS flip flops.

He is still to far right for me. I don’t think religion has any business in our government. Also, his constant preaching gives me a headache. All I said was someone must like him because he keeps getting re-elected. I don’t care for our mayor either but the same holds true for him. I don’t think the mayor is a Republican although he tries to convince people he is. I know some things about the last city election and what went on with the mayor and it isn’t pretty. But, the majority voted him in and we are stuck with him although it was very sad about the amount of people who voted. In five or ten years they will be cussing the hell out of him.

Bodacious, you confuse me too. You say that obama has reduced the debt yet when he was elected the debt was around 9 trillion and now it is 19 trillion. How is that reduced?

President Obama has increased the debt by 53%.Most of that money was spent to keep the US out of a depression created by the 101% increase created by GWB. Our present administration does still have to contend with the payments for the wars created by Republicans. What amazes me is that they (Repubs) are against what they perceive as baby killing, but killing other humans is ok as long as it is promotes America as the premiere super power in the world. And, while we are doing that, we are also padding the pockets of those arms manufacturers who paid for the campaign.

What does amaze me is I see the condition of our country, I see how it has changed in the last 7 years or so yet you people continue to blame it on bush, like Truman used to say, the buck stops here. What obama does is not only the redistribution of wealth but the redistribution of blame too.

@David/Maybe-Isn’t 9 trillion to 19 trillion more like 101% increase. Bodacious said 53% and that doesn’t add up. The increases have gone to fund all of his social programs and increased size of government. They always like to use the same tire old excuse that Bush did it. They use that because they have nothing else. Obama has had seven years to completely destroy anything bush did, and he did it.

To answer LVS’s question, yes $9 trillion to $19 trillion is over a 100% increase but when President Obama took office, in 2008, the deficit was almost 12 trillion. President Bush doubled the debt to that level from the $6 trillion we were in debt when he took office. Much of our current debt has occurred because of increases to Social Security, unemployment and trying to recover from the recession (which started in GW Bush’s last year and was inherited by President Obama). You seem to believe that our President came into office with no problems to contend with which isn’t true.

So by your estimate bush doubled the debt to 12 trillion, I think that number is wrong but I will give it to you but now the debt is 19 trillion so you blaming everything on bush is pure hogwash. Passing the blame just shows whats really wrong with our society, nobody takes responsibility anymore for their own actions.

@bodacios-I have always heard 9 million but I will take your word for it for now. I will try to do some verification. It shouldn’t be to hard to find out.

David, I am not blaming it all on Bush. Much of the debt his term added was in his last year which happened to be the beginning of the recession. President Obama’s social agenda has added to the national debt but the right wing wants us to believe that it is all the present administration’s fault and it’s not. This website shows the national debt http://www.usgovernmentdebt.us/
This website explains what the national debt is and how it is figured out and where it came from. It is very informative. http://home.adelphi.edu/sbloch/deficits.html

Bodacious thanks for those pages, they are very informative. It is easy to blame the president for the debt but the thing we have to remember is that most of it is congresses fault and now days it is hard to tell the difference dealing with pork, between the republicans and democrats. All of them spend way too much money.

And as long as the politicians can split the populace into 2 camps-liberals and conservatives- and throw in extremists on both sides-they will win the battle. With people screaming at each other, and hating each other, and belittling each other, they will never come together to change the system. That’s my fear, and some might say my conspiracy theory, but look around. Hate is dividing this country and the politicians love it. The ones who generate the most money get the most publicity. The more controversial their stance, the more publicity they get. Trump is dominating the media now. You don’t read about the other candidates other than when they rebut something he said. So what does he…

do, but continue to push the envelope hoping to add more one issue groups to his followers. The politicians rule. They don’t want to see us working together because it spells trouble for them. And they will continue to rule until we vote them all out. And continue to do so until they pass a law that sets term limits for all of them. So they continue with the extremism to keep us apart.

In my personal opinion you can’t trust any of them to follow through on their campaign promises but the one that I like is trump because he does push the envelope and he doesn’t have any contributors to answer to. Now just because I like him right now doesn’t mean I will vote for him, I just like what he is saying and doing.

Fix it with term limits for all elected politicians.

bodacious, you said most of the debt was done on bush’s last year. I I remember right that would probably be because of the buyouts and the stimulus right? What caused the ressession anyway? I was the dodd frank bill, 2 democrats. Now I am not blaming democrats because some republicans voted for it too. I am just so tired of liberals always blaming bush for everything.

@David/Maybe-Don’t forget the auto bail outs that cost us billions. remember it was to save American jobs but not GM is having their cars made in China to make more profits and to hell with our jobs. LKied to again.

so bush was at fault for some of the debt but not all of it.

The biggest driver of debt is Obamacare and it is not done yet. It has gone so far I don’t think they can get rid of it without having something to replace it. I would think there are lots of ways to improve it.

Actually, Bush added more money to his total in that last year. This was due to TARP and his Economic Stimulus plan. President Obama may have bailed out the auto industry, but President Bush bailed out the banks. Both were thought to be necessary to keep our country’s economy free from a collapse of monumental proportions.

@bodacious-I think they were both wrong and both playing to their rich supporters. What did you get out of those buy outs? Did you get a lot of money from wall street? Did you get any special deals from the auto buy out? I know I didn’t but yet they used our money to do it and put the country farther in debt. They should have been allowed to fail just like any other business.

So bodacious, by your own words both were thought to be necessary to save the economy. Yet they still blame bush when he did what he thought was right.

Yes, David, those are my words and yes, Bush still gets blamed. Yet you, too, want to blame President Obama for all the troubles of the world. This is the divide and conquer strategy used by the politicians to keep their offices.

@bodacious-You know, I am starting to like the way you think.

@LVS, that’s kind of scary but I think that as long as we are supposed to hate the opponent in politics, we overlook the shortcomings and faults of our candidate.

amen!
