Shawn Dietz, Franklin County GOP Chair, reported today that at last week’s Franklin County Fair in Hampton, the Republican Party of Franklin County conducted a “Cast Your Kernel” poll of that included 15 GOP Presidential candidates. A total of 533 corn-kernel ballots were cast by visitors to the booth. Below is a top 10 countdown of candidates according to their unscientific poll:
10) Chris Christie – 3%
9) Rand Paul – 3.75%
8) Marco Rubio – 4.32%
7) Rick Perry – 4.5%
6) Ted Cruz – 4.88%
5) Jeb Bush – 6.57%
4) Mike Huckabee – 9.19%
3) Scott Walker – 14.45%
2) Ben Carson – 16.32%
1) Donald Trump – 26.27%
“Though our “poll” was unscientific, it is interesting to note that 3 of the top 4 finishers match the findings of the latest Real Clear Politics average for the 2016 Republican Presidential nomination,” Mr. Dietz said.
The “Cast Your Kernel” poll was conducted from Wednesday, July 15th through Sunday, July 19th.
Despite fiery rhetoric from Trump in recent days, he continues to lead many national polls, as well.
As we saw with the last election, resulting in a Republican-controlled House and Senate, things in Washington didn’t change at all. The socialist agenda continues, regardless of which party is in control.
What is needed is for all voters who are concerned with the destruction of their country from within to recognize who the socialists are. If we are ever to really turn things around politically, we must vote for candidates who believe in the constitution as the basis of law and uphold traditional American values and morals.
I am starting to like him more and more. He tells it like it is. I am so sick of politicians who lie to us and then do whatever they want (both party’s) that he is a breath of fresh air. He has the Old Guard in the party running scared.

It is time we did away with both party’s and put in people that would truly represent us.

Have you heard about any of ‘Old Donald’s’ plans for anything other than immigration and how he feels about POWs? No. That is because he doesn’t have plans for the debt, healthcare, unemployment, foreign relations or anything else. He is a salesman and he has done an excellent job of selling his product-himself. But as far as substance is concerned, his product is lacking. But, you believers in magic will still support him and he knows it.
@OhOh-have you heard anything from Hilary other than she wants to take away from people that work and give it to those that don’t. She won’t even talk to the press because she has nothing to say.
