CHARLES CITY – Police in Charles City, working with the FBI, arrested a murder suspect from Chicago, hiding out in a low-income housing complex.
The Charles City Police Department said that Tuesday morning at about 8:56 AM, their officers along with the FBI conducted an operation in town in hopes of locating a subject who had an outstanding warrant for homicide out of Chicago.
At approximately 9:33 AM, the Charles City Police and FBI located and arrested Phil Jones, age 37, of Chicago, Illinois at an apartment in a building at 2105 Clark Street – known as the Morningside Apartments. Jones is currently being held at the Floyd County Jail.
Chicago Police were notified of the arrest.
Guess where the guy lives that brings in theses welfare loving folk ?

Now they are sending us their murders. When will it stop. I have heard that Illinois is giving those people vouchers so they can live here in Iowa free for a year. We need to stop this. I also heard the housing authority is involved which is the realtors. They don’t care what they do to us as long as they get their money.
You heard right, LVS, and they do it get the HUD money. Quit taking HUD’s money, and this won’t happen.
If people like this are living in these apartments, I really doubt that the apartment building still looks like the picture. This is the kind of crap we get from Chitcago. I sure hope he doesn’t try to escape on his way back to Chitcago, and they have to shoot him…
