MASON CITY – A North Iowa drug task force conducted a training exercise in the Cultural Crescent Wednesday.

The North Central Iowa Narcotics Task Force (NCINTF) Special Operations Group was seen at 319 1st Street NE (owned by Good Shepherd) in downtown Mason City Wednesday, practicing for raids on drug houses.

The NCINTF covers Cerro Gordo county and the eight surrounding counties. It is a partnership with various city, county, state and federal agencies, according to the city’s web site. The task force conducts a variety of drug related investigations. The task force sponsors a Special Operations Group (SOG), which is a specially equipped and trained group of officers utilized in high threat situations in the nine county task force area.

I wish they would come and raid the house in my neighborhood. Six people there getting their drugs today.

Not to be sardonic, but how many houses are getting their pharmaceutical drugs on a daily basis…yours included?

Not that it is any of your business, I only know of one house that gets blood thinners every day, and it is not mine. Besides you are not even close to apples and apples. You would love these people. They steal for a living and trade their stolen goods for drugs and it goes on every day. They are dealing ILLEGAL drugs. Not drugs used to help people. It is disgusting watching the young girls trade for drugs.

At my neighbor’s house, there are some of their “customers” that actually stand outside and county their money before they go in. And neither one of my neighbors work, but they have very expensive vehicles. I wouldn’t doubt that they are not only selling drugs, but also getting welfare since they have children. That’s the other thing, there’s kids in the house. Nice, huh?

People that have their medicine delivered to their home drive company vehicles, such as Mercy, or Hy-Vee. The people that work for the pharmacies that make these deliveries aren’t driving their own vehicles.
