Mason City woman guilty of meth possession

MASON CITY – A Mason City woman arrested last year during a domestic incident has pled guilty to possessing meth and is now in jail.

Kellie Jo Nelson, age 48, had been arrested on the morning of October 5, 2014, when Mason City police were sent to investigate a verbal domestic at 840 8th Street SE. Officers apparently discover that Nelson was in possession of the powerful drug methamphetamine. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

In April, Nelson pled guilty to that charge. She was sentenced to two days in jail and ordered to pay $855.25 in fines and court fees.

She never got help either, congrats. Your children are so blessed.

Someone get a weapon. It’s a zombie!!

Definitely shows what this horrible drug can do to a person. And to think a poster on this site thinks it should be legal.

Damn woman is wasted. Drugs in action.
