MASON CITY – Law enforcement worked together to nab an intoxicated young man this morning.
A Cerro Gordo deputy assisted Mason City police in locating a possible intoxicated person Wednesday just after midnight. Officers searched the area of Kentucky Avenue and 6th Street SE after a report from a concerned citizen. A male subject, 19-year-old David John-otto Rhoades of Mason City, was soon located. He was arrested on charges of public intoxication and unlawful consumption and taken to the county jail for processing.
Rhoades was held on bond as a court date was set.
