Former Iowa wrestlers face felonies for alleged burglaries

IOWA CITY – Three men who – until today – competed for the Iowa wrestling team have been charged with felonies in connection to a string of burglaries in Eastern Iowa.

University of Iowa wrestling coach Tom Brands announced Monday that freshmen Seth Gross, Ross Lembeck, and Logan Ryan are no longer members of the Iowa wrestling team.

All three 19-year-old men are accused of participating in a series of burglaries in Marion, Iowa in March o this year. Lembeck, Gross and Ryan each face two counts of felony-level third-degree burglary, seven counts of misdemeanor-level third-degree burglary, two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony and one count of conspiracy to commit an aggravated misdemeanor.
