MASON CITY – A Mason City woman arrested last year for her third public intoxication charge was sentenced to two weeks in jail.
Mason City police were called to an apartment house at 24 6th Street NW on December 14 at about 4:47 PM for a report of an intoxication person there causing a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers encountered Kayli Ann Louise Bang, age 27, and she was arrested. Bang was charged with aggravated misdemeanor third offense public intoxication and taken to Mercy Hospital. Cerro Gordo deputies went to pick her up at about 9:30 PM later that day and she was then jailed.
Bang pleaded guilty on April 24 to public intoxication an was sentenced to 2 weeks in jail and ordered to pay $160.00 in court costs; her fine was suspended.
