INDEPENDENCE, IA – An Iowa man is in jail, accused of a stack of sex crimes involving a child.
On Friday, March 27, 2015, Buchanan County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Joshua Jarrett, 37, of Masonville, Iowa, after he was returned here by Texas law enforcement. Jarrett was arrested on an active arrest warrant out of Buchanan County for four charges of second degree sexual abuse (class B felony), four charges of third degree sexual abuse and fleeing to avoid prosecution (class D felony).
Court records indicate his alleged victim was a child, beginning in 2002, and continued until 2008.
Jarrett is being held on $250,000 bond.
