CHARLES CITY – An Iowa man caught numerous times driving drunk was stopped and arrested for that offense in Charles City.
On March 27 at about 11:57 PM, officers with the Charles City police department stopped a vehicle driven by 46-year-old Shawn Jerry Kettwig at the 200 block of North Main Street. Officers determined Kettwig was intoxicated and he was arrested, jailed, and released the next day.
Kettwig has been arrested at least three previous times for operating while intoxicated. He was found guilty in 2000 for felony third offense operating while intoxicated, and is still paying off his fines and court fees associated with that case.
