CHARLES CITY – A Nashua man who was stopped and arrested by Charles City police has pleaded guilty to drunk driving and was sent to jail this month.
Charles City police stopped a vehicle at the 700 block of Riverside Drive driven by 26-year-old Cody A. Knutson for driving without his headlights on. During the course of the traffic stop, the officer determined that Knutson was intoxicated and he was placed under arrest. He was charged with operating while intoxicated, second offense, and no insurance and jailed.
Knutson entered a guilty plea to first offense drunk driving and was sentenced to 7 days in jail nd ordered to pay $1,837.50 in fines and court fees. He finished serving his sentence earlier this month, and records show he paid his court fees and fine entirely.
