AMES, Iowa – Iowa State junior forward Georges Niang has been named a finalist for the 2015 Oscar Robertson Trophy. The list is comprised of the nation’s standout players and leading contenders to be named to the U.S. Basketball Writers Association All America Team.

Niang is one of only 14 candidates to be named to list, and the only player to be chosen from the Big 12. He is one of six juniors to be nominated for the award.
