MASON CITY – For the second straight week, NIACC’s Al Davis has been selected as the ICCAC men’s basketball player of the week for the week of Feb. Feb. 16-22.
It is the third time this season Davis has earned the league’s weekly honor.
Davis scored a career-high 34 points with 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal against Iowa Lakes on Feb. 18. He also scored 30 points with 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals against Ellsworth on Feb. 21.
Davis averages 15.6 points per game to lead the Trojans. He also leads the team with 141 assists and 68 steals.
Davis has 286 career assists and is 14 assists shy of becoming the fourth player in school history with 300 career assists. Davis has made 223 career free throws, which ranks fifth on the school’s all-time career list.
