Do the attorneys in the County Attorney’s Office work 40 hours a week? None seem to get in early and the redhead walks around town at all hours of the day. Do they punch a time clock?

@Nicole Bench-I don’t think so.

I could live for a while on this severance……
Scott A Tepner ……………….101,946.90

Why is Amanda E. Ragan ……………. 33,263.42 getting paid from the county? What is this for?

William J. Hoekstra…………… 60,775.03 They pay this loser to much, When he loses all the cases.

He doesn’t lose cases, he plea bargains them down to nothing. This guy hardly see’s a case for more than 2 minutes. Want to commit a crime, do it in Cerro Gordo.

Every government position should be a flat rate of $20,000 a year. Government should be considered a service that is rotated amongst the population. They have designed an US vs. THEM on purpose. I’ve been saying this all along. Despicable and time to change it. Alienation by design is immoral and wrong.

If we are all part of the government…part of the system, then ALL of us need to participate in its process and not just a few. The system needs to be scrapped in its entirety, and a new egalitarian one put in place. Everyone should be crossed trained and rotated. All government positions should be considered jury duty. What does “We the People” really mean anymore? REVOLUTION.

I told Matt from the beginning he should stick to the local revolution. This kind of information is exactly what’s needed to accomplish that task. His resorting to local street and drug crime has been a deviation from the real task at hand, which is what pissed me off. This is what it takes to get NIT back on track.

Don’t go away mad. Just go away.

Wow John Boedeker makes a ton of money…didnt he get an OWI around thanksgiving time? I saw him driving in his cadi with a handicap sticker! i thought you lose your license after an OWI…

work permit.

Thanks LVS. Guess work permits allow you to drive to your doctor’s appointments too 🙂

@Whatev-It is not supposed to but a lot of them just drive anywhere they want. And a lot of them drive without a license.

Do you know where the DOT specifically allows him to drive? You should determine that before you make comments.

@Nicole-I know what a work permit allows. Do You?

I dont think drunk drivers should be allowed a work permit. they weren’t thinking of their job or OUR lives when they chose to drink and drive. At least he FINALLY got caught. and YES i know he drinks and drives a lot.

@whatev-I kind of agree with you but, with some people if they don’t drive they lose their job. We have enough bums around town now without making more. Even though I do not drink I disagree with the limit they now have on alcohol. Two beers is enough to put people over the limit and I know a lot of people that amount doesn’t even phase. It is kind of like the prohibition on pot, it isn’t working and just causes our jails to fill up. They need to make it reasonable.

@LVS -You are such a expert because you have first hand experience. I knew you were brain dead and now I know why. You are really Philosopus under another name. Both brain dead liberals.

@Lefty-have you lost your freaking mind or are you smoking the funny crap again. You are Philosopus and you know it. A born, worthless, liberal brat.

Matt, It’s funny how you’re in this thread making the same argument I was about prohibition not working in the meth article. Yet over there the idea of legalizing drugs was ridiculous. Not surprising you’re a complete hypocrite like the rest of the republitards. Prohibition doesn’t work, clearly you agree.

@Lefty-Once again I am not Matt although you certainly are Philosopus. I can smell your poopy pants from here. I am still against legalizing pot for recreational use although I have nothing against legalizing it for medical use if managed properly. That has never changed. I have always said that. As far as current laws are concerned, they are obviously not working and we have to many people not working because of it. Change the laws but shut up til then.

Isn’t it odd that the “elected” officials need to have a raise? It’s too bad they didn’t know what the salary rate was when they ran for these positions. I’d also like to hear from the Compensation Board as to why or how they justify their recommendations.

Mary Beth is on it, she’s a regular poster on here, but tends to go mute on issues like this when I’ve questioned her reasoning before. Odd.

I just love it when they post all this!!!
It just so nice, it drives them nuts…

What do you care Phili? You don’t pay taxes. You don’t have a job. You don’t own a home. Nothing. You pay nothing in. So basically, your opinion doesn’t matter. AND you supposedly don’t live here anymore either. Good riddance.

@Anonymous-Good points. basically he is a waste of skin.

I’m smart enough to see a corrupt system when I’m brought up in one. I chose the path of salvation thru revolution.

I stopped calculating at Carlyle Dalen’s salary in the D’s: $2,219,000 (approximate). This has always been what it’s been about and I’ve been too stupid and idealistic to see. This class warfare shit, has always been about protecting the influx of money, to support one group of people using the money of another group. This is why the government in Cerro Gordo is so tightly controlled. It’s all about the MONEY. No wonder they need to keep groups of people down.

Welp, Mary-Beth Know-It-All is on that compensation board. What say you? Why do you give the elected officials raises every year?
