MASON CITY – A Mason City woman was stopped and arrested for drunk driving early Saturday morning.
A Cerro Gordo deputy conducted a stop of a vehicle for a traffic violation near 19th Street SE and Massachusetts Avenue at about 12:37 AM Saturday. After an investigation during the traffic stop, the deputy determined that the driver, 18-year-old Patience Kaye Halfpap of Mason City, was arrested for first offense operating while intoxicated and taken to jail.
Halfpap was released later Saturday, pending a court date.
