OSCEOLA, IOWA – The Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner has identified the two victims of the double homicide in Osceola. They are: Erick Reyna, 22, of Osceola, Iowa, and Noe Flores Rascon, 27, of Osceola, Iowa.
The Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner has also confirmed both deaths as homicides.
Four people are in jail after these two people were found shot dead in a car on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at approximately 9:30 PM. On that day, the Osceola Police Department received a report of two persons who had gone missing during the evening hours on Friday, January 23, 2015.
After further investigation, the two missing persons were located in a vehicle at 1305 255th Avenue, Osceola, in rural northern Clarke County, deceased. Both victims died of gunshot wounds.
Autopsies were being planned for Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at the Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner, in Ankeny.

The investigation is on-going. The Osceola Police Department is being assisted by the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI).
