NIACC men top Wartburg JV

niacc_trojans_logoMASON CITY – The NIACC men’s basketball team topped the Wartburg College junior varsity 91-52 on Sunday afternoon in the NIACC gym.

Conor Lang scored 18 points, Braxton Williams scored 14 points and Mike Udume scored 13 points to lead NIACC (13-9 overall).

Williams had a career-high eight steals and six rebounds. The eight steals is the most in a game for NIACC since Josiah Lee collected nine steals against the Waldorf College JV in the 2012-13 season.

Al Davis and Trei Mitchell both collected five assists for NIACC, which is 16-0 all-time against the Wartburg JV. Davis now has 257 career assists, which ranks seventh on the school’s all-time list.

Lang led the Trojans with nine rebounds and Juafonyay Lyte scored eight points and grabbed eight rebounds.
