MASON CITY – A Mason City man was caught drunk driving Thursday night.
A Cerro Gordo deputy conducted a traffic stop at about 7:05 PM Thursday, January 22, near 2791 4th Street SE. After an investigation, the deputy determined that the driver, 21-year-old Marcus Anthony Mckinnon, was intoxicated.
Soon thereafter at the county jail, the arresting officer conducted breath alcohol tests on a male subject, the only tests performed that day. The two results were both 0.153, nearly twice the legal limit.
Mckinnon was released from jail that day, pending a court date.
