MASON CITY – A Mason City man caught numerous times for drunk driving and eventually sent to prison for his crimes was caught again behind the wheel of a car.
Johnny Wayne Lee, age 47, was stopped by a Cerro Gordo deputy at around 7 AM near Indigo Avenue and 300th Street in rural Cerro Gordo county Friday morning.
Lee was charged with speeding, no insurance and driving while revoked. Lee had lost his license years ago after a felony drunk driving conviction. He has also been caught a number of times driving while revoked, which eventually sent him to prison for two years. He was paroled in 2013.
Lee is being held on $1,000 bond as he awaits a court date.
