MASON CITY – A man with numerous felony charges under his belt and now living in Mason City was caught by police, drunk in the Cultural Crescent.
Mason City police spotted 46-year-old Kenneth Ray Brown walking in the Cutural Crescent at the 100 block of South Federal Avenue. An officer observed Brown in public – intoxicated, according to a report – and he was arrested and transported to the county jail for processing. Brown pleaded guilty and was ordered to serve 1 day in jail.
Brown has a long criminal history in the Des Moines area, being accused of a number o serious felonies, including dependent adult abuse causing serious injury, being a fugitive from justice, burglary and theft. He now resides at the transition center on 1st Street NW.
