BRITT – Two Britt residents were injured after they were ejected from their car during a rollover accident late Sunday night.
A 1999 Ford Contour driven by Timothy Monson was southbound on county road R-20 Sunday night at about 10:50 PM when the vehicle left the roadway to the right and entered the east ditch and rolled. The car came to rest on it wheels facing northeast. Monson and his new wife, Andrea Monson, were both ejected from the vehicle.
Both injured persons were taken by ambulance to Hancock Memorial Hospital in Britt for undisclosed injuries. Neither person was wearing a seatbelt. The accident remains under investigation.
