WATERLOO – One teen was nabbed by cops as he and his pals were burglarizing a house.
On Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 12:30 AM, the Waterloo Police Department responded to a report of a burglary in progress at 930 W. 1st Street. Upon arrival it was found that multiple suspects entered the residence through a window. Once inside the suspects robbed the occupants at gunpoint. A short time later the suspects fled the residence on foot with undisclosed items.
As a result of the investigation one of the suspects was identified, located and arrested. Danzell Ladell Washington, age 16, was charged in District Court with one count of Robbery 1st Degree and one count of Burglary 1st Degree.
The investigation is on-going.
