MASON CITY – A Mason City man who claims to be a rapper was arrested by Clear Lake police for domestic assault involving strangulation.
Dwayne Anthony Carter, age 23 and claiming to live in Mason City, was arrested on December 9 on a charge of domestic assault involving strangulation, which is a felony in Iowa. Carter was taken to the county jail and held on $2,000 cash only bond. He awaits a December 19 court date.
Carter claims to be a member of DOPE BOY MUSIC and calls himself “Da Young Prodigy”.

Mr. Carter, Don’t get too worked up over LVS. He always seems to see the glass ½ empty and take the negative side on everything. I would not call him racist though only because he likes to slam everyone no matter what their ethnicity is. He is the only perfect person I know, he has never made a mistake in his life, just ask him sometime. The important thing is you have learned from your mistake and are moving on with your life.
