He was considered armed and dangerous.
The Iowa Department of Public Safety reported that at approximately 9:15 AM this morning, Deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office took Lind into custody. He is no longer at large and there is no danger to the public, they said in a press release.
Fairfield the county seat. I remember caucusing for Howard Dean at the courthouse when I lived there. I built a Savonius wind turbine out of a 50 gallon barrel and I did soil myself once while walking around after a night’s drinking; (I used somebody’s garden hose to it clean up). I dated a pretty girl with dark brown hair whose son had glossolalia. Fairfield’s an interesting town though…Maharishi University…the convergence of farmers, methheads and meditators.
