RURAL WOODBURY COUNTY – Five people were killed in a two-vehicle accident in Western Iowa Saturday afternoon.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, two SUV vehicles collided on Iowa Highway 141 near the 3 mile marker Saturday at about 3:23 PM. One driver lost control of his vehicle and over-corrected, and entered the lane with on-coming traffic, only to be broadsided.
Three of the victims were from Sioux City, one was from Des Moines and another from Ute, Iowa.
