ST. PAUL – Members of the Ramsey County, Minnesota Sheriff’s Office Violent Crime Enforcement Team (VCET), assisted by officers from The Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force and the Mankato Police Department, made five arrests and seized 140 pounds of marijuana and $40,000 during an investigation Wednesday. Investigators are not releasing further details at this time as the investigation remains active. “This is an excellent example of what a strong working relationship between law enforcement agencies, throughout the state, can accomplish,” Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy John Kirkwood said Friday.
Decisions related to the charging of the arrested defendants will be made by the Blue Earth County Attorney’s Office.
