MASON CITY – A convicted felon from Mason City who tried to help other inmates in jail get high is now facing new drug charges of delivering meth.
Ashley Anne Aird, age 32, was arrested at the Ruby Tuesday restaurant where she works at 11:35 PM on an arrest warrant.
Aird faces a felony charge of delivery of methamphetamine brought by the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office. The incident allegedly took place in November of last year. The charge was filed Wednesday, September 17.
Aird is a convicted felon and Beje Clark alum, and she is waiting to go back there right now as she is held in jail on $10,000 cash bond. Beje is full right now, so she cannot be placed there until bed space opens.
Aird has been accused of crimes such as possessing weapons in jail, possessing drugs in jail, furnishing drugs to other inmates, possession meth precursors, enhanced third degree theft, drug possession, probation violations, and more.
