IOWA CITY – University of Iowa national champions Brent Metcalf and Tony Ramos compete at the 2014 World Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, beginning late Sunday night.
Ramos competes at 57 kg on Monday, Sept. 8, and Metcalf competes at 65 kg on Tuesday, Sept. 9. Uzbekistan is 10 hours ahead of Central Standard Time, which means the tournament will be well underway by sunrise in Iowa.
