MASON CITY – A North Iowa man accused of a range of crimes over the years was caught in the heart of the Cultural Crescent.
Cerro Gordo deputies spotted Valentine Louie Flores at the 500 block of East State Street on Friday, August 29 at 10:08 AM, known to be wanted on an arrest warrant due to overdue court costs and fines related to habitual driving while suspended, for which he owes $607.81 and has made no payments as well as a third degree theft charge. Four deputies were on the scene. Flores was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail and later released pending a court date.
Flores has spent time at the Fort Dodge Correctional Facility on at least two occasions, and been accused of a number of felonies and other serious crimes related to dealing meth, felony theft, felony first degree robbery, domestic abuse with a weapon, habitual driving while barred, and more.
