ROCHESTER, MN – Iowa State University basketball coach Fred Hoiberg underwent successful surgery Tuesday at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
“The surgery performed this morning at the Mayo Clinic to replace my pacemaker was successful,” Hoiberg said after the surgery. “The plan is for me to be discharged and allowed to return to Ames this afternoon. I want to thank my doctors and nurses at the Mayo Clinic, as well as everyone that has extended their well-wishes to me. Our family truly appreciates your support.”
