MASON CITY – The Cerro Gordo County Conservation Board campgrounds will open Friday, May 2, 2014. CGCCB manages three modern campgrounds; Ingebretson Park in Thornton; Linn Grove Park in Rockwell; and Wilkinson Pioneer Park in Rock Falls. Each campground offers 30 amp electrical hook-up, shower house facility, fresh water and dump station. Camping rates will remain the same for the 2014 season: $12 for electrical and $7 for non-electrical nights.
Due to interior repairs/updates, Ingebretson Park shower house facility will be closed until further notice. During this period, a portable toilet will be placed at the shower house facility. The picnic restroom facility (southwest of campground) with flush toilets will be available during this period. Water, dump station and electrical service will remain in use during this period. Camping rates at Ingebretson Park during this period will be reduced to $7.00 per night.
