MASON CITY – A wanted Mason City man was caught by police Saturday and taken to jail.
A called reported that Joseph Michael Evenson, age 25, was at the 700 block of Elm Drive in Mason City, causing a disturbance. Police arrived and found Evenson – who was wanted on a warrant related to aggravated assault on a police officer – at the scene and placed him under arrest.
Evenson was taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail, booked and held on $2,000 bond.
