Avarie Dana-jensen was reported as missing on October 6th to police, and is still listed as missing on the State of Iowa’s missing persons website.
However, police said Avarie was located in Arkansas with her 18 year old boyfriend and taken into custody.
“Her mother gave Arkansas authorities permission to release her to her father who was down there,” police said. “It gets cloudy from there as her father allegedly released her to a relative of her boyfriend in or around Joplin, MO. So she is still entered as a missing person.”
