A poll shows that most Americans disapprove of the Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Obamacare.
According to Gallup, 49% of Americans disapprove of Obamacare while 41% favor it. An additional 11% have no opinion.
Health insurance exchanges open nationwide on October 1st.
These results come from an Aug. 17-18, 2013, Gallup poll.
Gallup also reported that more Americans are pessimistic than optimistic about the future impact of the law. Less than a quarter believe it will make their family’s healthcare situation better, while 38% say it will make it worse. When asked about the law’s impact on the healthcare situation in the U.S., 35% say it will make the situation better, while 44% say it will make it worse. Americans’ views are essentially the same as they were in June.
To make matters worse for the White House, Gallup reported that 3 in 10 Americans are not familiar with the Affordable Care Act – despite efforts to educate the public – and the more familiar they are with the law, the less likely they are to support it.
In March 2010, President Obama signed comprehensive health reform, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), into law. The law aims to make preventive care—including family planning and related services—more accessible and affordable for many Americans. Hate to break it to you, but the law was written by big insurance and the pharmaceutical industry. As far as determining your length of stay, the ability for your doctor to argue with your insurance company will now be taken out of your doctors hands. A handful of bean counter in DC will now decide the length of your stay based on statistics that may not have any bearing on your individual case. Furthermore, the law doesn’t allow for debate on the price of pharmaceuticals.
This reply shows me that if this law was voted on now by all of these voters that really don’t know sqwat about the details, we’d still be in trouble. If Obama wants a special insurance for those that can’t afford one then FINE. But let me keep what I have without a penalty. Obama we won’t take your special ins. coverage away, don’t take my options away either. Sheeeeeesh. !!!

It was thrown together basically overnight and the democrats rammed it down the republicans throats. The democrats were more intent on winning one over on the republicans that they didn’t care what the final product looked like. Throw the top 548 federal officials out on their ass.
With all the polls lately saying most Americans and smart and don’t want Obamacare. All the delays, exemptions the President has given, even the Democrats have said this is a train wreck. Then why are the Republicans in Congress having such a hard time de-funding it. That should be a no brainer.
Tim, the House has voted on getting rid of Obama Care, it has Harry Ried will not bring it to vote in the Dem. controlled House. It will be up to the vote of the people to take over the Senate and it will be done away with for good. Once people find out what this mess is going to cost them, they will really be angry that they believed this flim flame man and that is exactly what Obama is, a snake oil salesman.

Well surely those polls are a lie then. We all know that the anointed one knows what is best for all of us. Just ask him, he’s the smartest person he knows!

A black homeland security employee who is in charge of purchasing weapons for the group is posting anti white hate videos including saying the only way for blacks to get ahead is to start killing whites. Whats being done about in the Obama rules administration. NOTHING.
