MASON CITY – A woman previously of Mason City who had punished her child by leaving it in a running clothes dryer – and was convicted of the crime and received probation – has had her probation revoked and is now serving jail time for that and another offense.
Mallory Ann Hakes, 27, violated her probation on January 16th, 2013 and was sentenced to 45 days in jail. That sentence is to run concurrently with a 30 day jail sentence she received on May 10th on a charge of assault causing bodily injury.
