Prison Inmate Escape – John Bennett Unit, Fort Madison

Steven Adcock, a minimum outs worker from John Bennett Unit at Fort Madison escaped from a work detail on Keokuk, Iowa. He was last seen by his Keokuk city work supervisor at 11:35 am today.

Adcock was admitted to prison on January 24, 2011 and was serving a 16-year sentence for the following sentences: Habitual Offender by Burglary-3rd degree (Johnson County); Burglary-3rd degree (Clayton County); Burglary-3rd degree (Muscatine County); Theft-2nd, Eluding, and two counts of drug possession (Polk County).

Information as to Adcock’s whereabouts should be reported to the Keokuk Police Department or Lee County Sheriff’s Department. Iowa State Penitentiary teams have joined local law enforcement in the search.
